I’m a speaker, entrepreneur and former corporate executive who understands what it means to stand in front of an audience, represent a business and answer difficult questions when the stakes are high.
Over nearly two decades in technology, I held several leadership roles at Huawei South Africa, including Chief Marketing Officer and VP Operations. For nine years, I also served as the company’s official South African spokesperson, representing the business through product launches, media interviews and some of its most challenging periods.
That experience taught me how much effective communication depends on preparation, listening and understanding the people you’re speaking to. Knowing your subject matters, but so does finding a way to make it clear, relevant and credible to someone else.
Since leaving corporate life in 2024, I’ve continued that work as a speaker, entrepreneur and founder and editor of Geekhub, where I make complex technology understandable for everyday readers. I also serve as a board member of The Movement for Good, contributing to its work in the nonprofit sector.
Today, I help individuals, professionals and business leaders strengthen their public speaking and communication skills, whether they’re finding the confidence to contribute in a meeting, preparing a presentation or representing an organisation publicly.
